How Much Do You Love Chocolate?

Any food holiday involving chocolate is a winner! So, of course I had to make something great for International Chocolate Day These Triple Chocolate Deep Dish Brownies made with Eagle Brand Condensed Milk are the perfect dessert!

And they’re so easy to make especially since they come together in 5 easy steps with a boxed brownie base!

Here’s how you put them together:

Start with your favorite boxed brownie mix. Mix it according to the directions using eggs, oil and milk. Most of the box mixes say to use water, but I always use milk instead.

Divide the batter into 4 ramekins or any oven safe small dishes. Place a 2 oz chocolate square in the middle of each. Place it on top of the batter and use a fork or knife to push the chocolate to the middle. It should melt during the baking process resulting in a soft chocolate center.

Bake for 25-30 minutes. Do not over bake. You want it to not be completely done. Let them cool just while you make the chocolate sauce so that they will still be warm when you serve them.

Make the chocolate sauce by combining Eagle Brand Condensed Milk with chocolate chips. I melted them in the microwave in a glass measuring cup, but you can also melt it on the stove. Mix the sauce until smooth and pour in top of each ramekin. Top with ice cream and serve!

Triple Chocolate Deep Dish Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Boxed Brownie mix, made according to directions
  • 1 can  Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
  • 4 2 oz chocolate squares
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Ice cream to top (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix Brownie batter according to the box directions. Divide batter between 4 ramekins sprayed with cooking spray. Place one chocolate square in the middle of each. Bake for 25-30 minutes. While they cool slightly, make the chocolate drizzle.
    In a microwave safe bowl, add chocolate chips and Eagle Condensed Milk. Microwave for 30-45 seconds. Stir until smooth. Pour chocolate sauce over each brownie cup. Top with ice cream, if desired.
