I love a good Sangria. During the winter I like using red wine. But in the summer, it has to be lighter.
I thought I’d use a Rosé today in honor of National Rosé Day. A bottle of a nice Rosé with cognac, orange juice some lemon-lime soda and lots of chopped fruit with ice combined in a vase makes a refreshing summertime drink! Rosé all day!
Rosé Sangria
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Rosé wine
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 2 tbsp sugar or simple syrup
- 1 1/2 cups lemon-lime soda
- 1 cup orange juice
- strawberries
- oranges
- lemons
- limes
- apples
- peaches
Instructions
- Mix everything except the soda in a pitcher. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Slice fruit and place in pitcher and in glasses. Pour in soda right before serving. Pour into glasses with ice.
