What ingredients are needed for the Bunny Tail Cocktail?

Vodka– I use vodka as the main alcohol element because it goes best with the other ingredients.
Créme de Cacao– This liqueur gives the cocktail a chocolate flavor
White Chocolate Liqueur– Adds a bit of white chocolate flavor. It’s creamy and not overpowering, and it’s so good!
Simple syrup– I like to use a bit of simple syrup in my cocktails just to add a little sweetness. If you’re not into having your cocktails sweet, you can use less of it.
Heavy Cream– The heavy cream makes the drink creamy and smooth.

How is the glass garnished for the Bunny Tail Cocktail?

You can totally just pour the cocktail into a coupe glass or any type of glass that you have on hand. I promise, it will still taste exactly the same. But, sometimes you want to make things a little cute. Especially if you’re serving the drink for an event or a special occasion, like Easter.
So, to garnish the glass, brush some simple syrup around the rim of a coupe glass and down one side of the glass as well. I like to cover more than the rim because it gives the glass a nicer look.
If you don’t want to use simple syrup, you can also cut a lemon or lime and rub the glass with it too.
Add some granulated sugar to a small shallow dish, and dip the rubbed areas of the glass in the sugar. Make sure to cover all of the rim and side where to applied the simple syrup or lemon juice.
Take a large (not jumbo) marshmallow and cut it almost half way in the middle. Place it cut side down to the opposite side of the glass from the sugar garnish.

Not only does this cocktail taste great and looks cute, it’s so easy to make.
In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, Créme de Cacao, White Chocolate Liqueur, simple syrup, and heavy Cream.
Add about 1/2 a cup to a cup of ice to the shaker. Cover it with a tight fitting lid, and shake vigorously for 15-25 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold. You want to make sure that all of the ingredients are mixed well and that the cocktail is chilled.

Strain the cocktail into the coupe glass and serve.

Tools & Equipment

Cocktail Shaker– You can use any type of cocktail shaker you like. They’re pretty inexpensive. I love using a clear glass shaker like this one, just so you can see all of the ingredients right through it! But if you want a regular shaker, this one is great too!
Cocktail Jigger– Using a jigger to measure out your alcohol makes it easier to proportion your cocktail. This one is perfect.
Coupe Glass– Coupe glasses make a cocktail that much cuter. These are a great option.
Simple Syrup– simple syrup is easy to make. But if you don’t want to make it each time you make a cocktail, you can keep some on hand like this one.
