My go- to Ice Cream Place for the summer is Hoyer’s Ice Cream in West Haverstraw NY. We come here a lot since moving to the Hudson Valley.
Hoyer’s Ice Cream has been around since the early 1950’s. This road side stand is a spot for locals and others that love to stop by on their way from the lakes and Bear Mountain.
They have a full menu of homemade hard ice creams as well as soft serve, ices, sorbet, sundaes, milkshakes, ice cream sodas and more! The ice cream is so rich, creamy, and delicious. It’s the best around!
The ice cream that I got today was Cotton Candy and Salted Caramel on a wafer cone. It was a great choice! I will definitely get these flavors again.
So, If you’re in the area, and want great tasting ice cream, Hoyer’s Ice Cream is the best choice!
