My family loves when we have pork chops for dinner. It’s definitely one of our favorites. During the colder months, I cook them on the stove. But in the Summer, they go on the grill. There’s nothing like the sound of sizzling pork chops as they cook on the grill.
I made Rosemary Garlic Grilled Pork Chops with Spicy Passion Fruit Coulis. It’s best to use thick cut pork chops. If you grill with thin chops, they may dry out fast. It is very easy to dry out pork chops when they cook. By using a thicker cut, you can insure that they stay juicer.
I started by marinating the pork chops overnight with garlic, herbs, passion fruit juice and olive oil. The next day, I placed them on the grill and basted them with Bonita Gourmet’s Spicy Passion Fruit Coulis. This sauce has the right balance of tanginess, sweetness and spice. Besides pork chops, I would also use it on all meats, poultry, seafood and vegetables too.
Take the pork chops off of the grill and serve them with grilled vegetables.
These pork chops were definitely a hit! The Spicy Passion Fruit Coulis is a great added bonus to these chops.
