I love making ice cream! When I saw this Caramel Ice Cream from Bon Appetit, I knew I had to try it. Caramel is my favorite flavor and if I could put it in every dessert, I definitely would!
This ice cream is dark, decadent, rich and oh so creamy. It’s more like a custard, since there’s 7 egg yolks in the recipe! That just adds to the richness of it.
The caramel is very strong, which is how I like it. But if you want a milder flavor, you can definitely decrease the amount you put in.
