This smooth garlic cream sauce is made with Bertolli’s Bertolli® d’Italia Alfredo Sauce. This authentic and delicious Alfredo sauce from @Bertolli_us d’Italia is made in Italy with aged Parmigiano Reggiano PDO and Pecorino Romano PDO cheeses and fresh cream and butter.
How is the dish made?
The seasoned shrimp are lightly cooked in Bertolli® Olive Oil with garlic, then covered in creamy Bertolli® d’Italia Alfredo Sauce. Then, it’s topped with fresh Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Tips for Making this Dish:
- Cook the shrimp on both sides just until they turn pink. Do not over cook the shrimp. Overcooked shrimp can be chewy or dry.
- Jared minced garlic can be easily substituted for the fresh crushed garlic.

Sautéed Shrimp in a Garlic Cream Sauce
Seasoned shrimp lightly cooked in Bertolli® Olive Oil with garlic, then covered in creamy Bertolli® d’Italia Alfredo Sauce. Then, it’s topped with fresh Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Ingredients
- 1 lb extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Bertolli® olive oil
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked pepper
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 4 large cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 jar Bertolli® d’Italia Alfredo Sauce
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place shrimp in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Set aside. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, add the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and shrimp. Cook the shrimp until just translucent. Add the Bertolli d’Italia Alfredo sauce and stir. Cook until the sauce heats and bubbles. Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley and serve with pasta, rice and/or Italian bread.
