Ingredients
1 1/2cupsmashed bananas
1/2cupbutter, melted
1cupsugar
2eggs
1/2cupbuttermilk
1tspvanilla
2cupsflour
1tspsalt
1tspbaking soda
1whole banana, for the top, sliced lengthwise
Cinnamon Sugar Mix
1/2cuppacked dark brown sugar
2tspcinnamon
1/4cupchopped pecans
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350. Mix bananas, butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs and buttermilk. Add the flour, salt, baking soda. Pour half of the batter into a parchment lined oil sprayed 9x5 loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Add the remaining batter on top.Cut 2 banana slices from a whole banana. Place them on top of the batter. Sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
