Anytime we have guests over, especially during the holidays, I always make a cheeseboard. A while ago, when I was shopping at Homegoods, I came across the absolute perfect board. It looked as if it was recently sliced right from a great oak tree, bark and all. It was the Acacia Oval Tree Bark Server by Lipper International.
The Oval Server is 19 1/2″ Long and 11 3/4″ wide. It is made of acacia wood. It has a dark brown bark that goes around the perimeter of the board, which gives it such an elegant, but rustic look.
There is a part of the server that is cut out on one end to make a handle. This makes it convenient for carrying it. If you do not want the handle shown when using it, you can simply cover it with a wedge of cheese, fruit, or something else large scale. It is large enough to fill the server with everything you would want on a cheeseboard.
It could also be used for other purposes beside as a cheeseboard. You can use it to serve all different type of foods or desserts. It would look great with cupcakes or cookies for a woodland themed party. There are so many possibilities with this server.
Clean up is easy as well. A damp soapy cloth is all that’s needed. I’ve never had anything stick to the surface. It completely wipes clean.
This is the best cheeseboard I have ever had. The wood server has such a natural look and feel to it. Every time I use it, I get so many complements. This can also be purchased online at Amazon. The Acacia Oval Tree Bark Server has completely met my expectations.
