Hot Chocolate is my favorite cold weather drink. I’ve been making it so often lately with this northeast cold and snowy weather. Every year, my mom gives me Williams- Sonoma’s Hot Chocolate and marshmallows. It wouldn’t be the holidays without it.
 
The chocolate comes in a large 12 oz canister. They make several flavors including peppermint, mocha, double dark, salted caramel & classic. It’s a custom blend of Guittard’s finest bittersweet and milk chocolates. The chocolate comes in small shavings as opposed to a powder form. When paired with warm milk, the chocolate shavings melt quickly and blend very well. The recommended ratio is one cup of milk to five tablespoons of the chocolate. This makes the hot chocolate very rich and full of chocolate flavor. If you do not want it as rich, you can use less chocolate shavings per cup.
Williams-Sonoma also makes a variety of marshmallow shapes to accompany the hot chocolate. These include snowmen, snowmen faces, mini marshmallows, snowflakes, reindeer, and letters. The designs as so cute and look so adorable in your mug. I have the snowman faces and mini marshmallows. They look great and add to the delicious flavor of the chocolate.
The Williams-Sonoma hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve ever had. Your hot chocolate will be so rich and decadent unlike other powder varieties. The real shavings of Guittard chocolate enhances the taste and the look of the chocolate in your mug. I look forward to receiving this every year on Christmas. Yum!
