Sugar Cookie White Chocolate Truffles

Spread the love

These Sugar Cookie White Chocolate Truffles are the best little one bite dessert! And they’re so simple to make. Really, really simple!

I had leftover sugar cookie dough from another batch of cookies, and I didn’t want it to go to waste. Yes, I could have just baked and eaten them myself, but I wanted to get creative.

First I rolled out, cut into squares and baked the sugar cookies. If you don’t already have cookie cookie dough made, you can get the refrigerated kind in the supermarket, bake them and use it. Or the easiest way is to use already made sugar cookies! No rolling, no cutting, no baking. It’s really up to you.

In a food processor, mix the cookies with cream cheese. Use a cookie scoop and form them into small balls by rolling the mixture with your hands. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes while you make the chocolate.

Melt white chocolate or white candy melts with a little oil in the microwave. The oil makes the chocolate smoother and easier to work with.

Dip each ball into the melted white chocolate. Add sprinkles right away. If you don’t, the chocolate will harden and the sprinkles will not stick. Refrigerate for about 1/2 an hour, then they’re ready to eat!

So simple, so delicious, so pretty. Perfect little holiday truffles!

Sugar Cookie White Chocolate Truffles

  • 3 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Chopped white chocolate or white candy melts
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • sprinkles (optional)
  1. Place cookies and cream cheese in a food processor and blend until fully mixed.  Use a cookie scoop, scoop out mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands.  Place on a baking sheet.  Repeat with remaining mixture.  Place into the freezer while you prepare the chocolate.
  2. Place chocolate or candy melts in a microwave safe bowl and add the oil.  Microwave for 50-60 seconds.  Remove and stir until melted.
  3. Take out the pan from the freezer.  Place a cookie ball into the chocolate.  Coat completely.  Use a fork to remove the ball from the chocolate and place on a parchment lined baking pan.  Add sprinkles on top right away.  Repeat for remaining balls.
