It was an unseasonably warm day in February in NY. 75 degrees in February! It’s unheard of. We broke a new record. It was a nice break from the cold winter, even if it was just a day. We’ll take it! So, what do you do in the winter in NY with a warm day… grill!!!

I knew I had to try Casey’s Rockin’ Red Chicken! Casey was my co-judge on The Chew.
Omg! It was absolutely delicious. Her recipe calls for chicken breast, but I tried it with wings. It was just as great.

Casey’s Rockin’ Red Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 package sazon red
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a gallon ziplock bag or mix together in a bowl and cover. Put it into the fridge and marinate for two hours.
    Remove from the fridge and let it sit out for 15 minutes to remove the chill from the refrigerator.  Grill outside, sear each side over the hot coals. Cover the lid and let them cook for 15 minutes.
