It’s the beginning of March and we had a snow day! I couldn’t believe it. We had just had several warm days in a row and I’ve been looking forward to Spring. The tulips are even starting to peek out from the dirt in the front of my house! And we just had snow… Again! Sigh…
Since the kids we’re home from school today, i decided to make a special breakfast, Croissant French Toast.
I remember the first time it had it. I was a teenager and my family and I were at a restaurant at a hotel in Georgia. I wanted French Toast, so I looked on the menu and saw Croissant French Toast. What? I had never heard of making French Toast with a croissant. I loved croissants and I loved French Toast, so why not? I tried it! It was so delicious! The buttery croissant with the egg custard combination was amazing! I don’t know why I had never thought of that before.
Ever since that day, anytime I had leftover croissants, I made croissant French Toast. Now I make it for my kids and they live it too. I guarantee, you’ll make it over and over again too! Here’s the recipe:
