Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Spread the love

There are so many different recipes for chocolate chip cookies with so many variations. All brown sugar, half brown half white sugar, egg, no egg, the list goes on and on.

This version of the chocolate chip cookie uses melted browned butter instead of softened butter. The browned butter gives the cookie a rich, nutty taste.

Melt the butter in a pot until it stops bubbling and starts to turn brown.  Let it cool completely.  Mix butter with the sugars. Mix in remaining ingredients.  Scoop dough and place them on a cookie sheet.  Bake for about 8-11 minutes.  Take out the cookies while they still look slightly undone, so that they will be soft.
