Puff Pastry Nutella Twists

Spread the love

I really love making these simple Nutella twists. I think it’s because of the ease of it. Just 2 ingredients plus an egg for the egg wash at the end. This one I made with Puff Pastry. Puff pastry differs from sweet dough because puff pastry has no yeast. You don’t have to leave it out to rise before you bake, but it still puffs up some after it bakes. It also is buttery and delicious!

To start, let the dough thaw for about an hour. You get it from the frozen food section of he supermarket, so this is a necessary step. Open up one sheet. Spread Nutella on it and place another sheet on top. Cut into four strips.

Take one strip and twist up completely and wrap around your hand. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining 3. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until browned. Cool on wire rack.
