Chocolate Ganache Drip Pudding Cake with Chocolate Buttercream

Spread the love

My son celebrated his birthday 4 times this year! At his birthday party before his actual birthday, on his birthday, at school and at his grandparents house. He was only turning 6. Did he really need these many celebrations and cakes??? Lol.

Here’s the cake I made him for his grandparents’ house. Of course he wanted them all to be chocolate. This one is a Chocolate Ganache Drip Cake with Chocolate Buttercream.

I baked a 2 layer chocolate cake and frosted it with a rich chocolate buttercream. I usually use a piping bag filled with chocolate ganache to make the drips, but this time I wanted to use a spoon to make the drips a little wider.

Give it try for your next celebration. Hopefully my son has had enough with his celebrations for this year!
