Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cream

Its Fall, and pumpkin season is in full effect!  Start the week off right by having a cup of Coffee with a delicious  Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cream.  It’s rich, creamy, and has the perfect amount of pumpkin.

It’s so easy to make. Just combine pumpkin purée, pumpkin spice, sugar, vanilla extract, milk and heavy cream into a saucepan.  Heat until it’s warm, but do not let it boil.  You want it to heat enough for everything to blend together.  Remove it from the heat and strain it into a container.  I strained it because I didn’t want any pieces of pumpkin in it, but if you do not mind that, then you can skip that step.  Let it cool completely, then add it to your cup of coffee.

You don’t only have to use it with coffee. I love adding flavored creamers to my hot chocolate as well.  It gives it the best taste.  Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Whisk all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.  Heat until very warm, but not boiling.  Strain mixture into a container and use.
