What’s Your Favorite Cut of Beef?

When my husband’s birthday rolls around, there’s only one thing he wants to eat, beef. Steak is his favorite and we all love it too.
Beef and Lamb New Zealand produces amazing high quality grass feed beef products.
Grass-fed beef from New Zealand is the most delicious, pure and naturally raised meat. Silver Fern Farms Angus beef is the perfect combination of flavor, texture and leanness with every cut. It has natural marbling and a full-bodied beef flavor, resulting in high-quality beef that is juicy and tender.
Silver Fern Farms Angus sampler boxes from MarxFoods.com feature three different cuts of high-quality grass-fed beef from New Zealand. Some of the meat cuts included are rib eye, tenderloin, strip, short rib, and flat iron. Each piece comes in individually wrapped and sealed, which keeps in the freshness.
I decided to use the Tenderloin Steak to make these delicious Beef Skewers.

And it’s really quite simple to make them!

First, I cut up the beef in good sized chunks. I then added them to the skewers. For this recipe, I used metal skewers, but you can also use wooden skewers. Both work well. If you use wooden, just soak them in water for at least an hour. They can burn easily on the hot grill, so soaking them slows that down.
You can add any vegetables to the Beef Skewers that you like. I used fresh mushrooms because I like the beef and mushroom combo. You can also add onions, peppers, zucchini… anything!
I then grilled them with an amazing Soy Garlic Sauce.
Add all of the ingredients to a pot and cook it until it reduces and thickens. Add the bourbon at the end for a great kick, but of course, it’s optional.
These will definitely be a hit at your next barbecue!
So, definitely try the beef from Beef and Lamb New Zealand!
