Have you tried Mike Johnson’s Brownie Recipes?
Brownies are the that one dessert than you can eat year round. There’s no season or special occasion for them. And they’re definitely one of my favorites!
These are “The Ultimate Fudge Brownies” recipe from Mike Bakes NYC’s cookbook, Even Better Brownies.
This is one recipe you have to try. These are a really great Brownies Recipes from scratch
How are they made?
Start with melting butter in a saucepan, then add the melted butter to a bowl of chopped chocolate, espresso powder and cocoa. Whisk until melted
Whisk the sugars, salt, vanilla and eggs for 10 minutes on a high speed. This is done to get a nice crackled top. Pour in the chocolate mixture and mix together.
Stir in flour until just combined. You don’t want to over mix.
Bake for 20 minutes and then remove the pan from the oven and slam them on a flat surface 2-3 times. This deflates them slightly, giving them a more even texture and encourages that beautiful crackly top.
Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes. They won’t look completely baked when they’re done. But you want them to be fudgy and not cakey. Cool completely and enjoy!
