Brownie Sundae

Spread the love

Brownies are definitely a staple in my house.  My family loves them.  You can almost always find them in our refrigerator.

We snack on brownies all day.  But when we have them for dessert, we love to dress them up and make them into a sundae.

You can choose from a variety of toppings. The possibilities are endless.  For us, salted caramel, chocolate fudge and ice cream is a must! There’s something about these toppings with ice cream and the brownies that makes the perfect sweet tooth fix that we need!

You can use an already prepared chocolate syrup, but I like to use chocolate ganache.  It’s so simple to make.  In the microwave, melt chocolate wafers, a chocolate bar, or chocolate chips with heavy cream.  The combination of the two will result in a creamy chocolate topping perfect for the sundae.

I usually use store bought salted caramel, but a homemade recipe will be delicious as well.  Top the sundae with whipped cream and sprinkles too to finish it off.  It’s the perfect little dessert!
