White Chocolate Cashew Macadamia Blondies

Spread the love

You know I love a good brownie.  Well, I also love that rich, gooey, caramel cousin to the brownie…. a Blondie!

It’s National White Chocolate Day. What perfect way to celebrate it than to make these White Chocolate Cashew Macadamia Blondies.

I wanted to make a blondie and put some different add ins in the batter than I usually do.  I had to have white chocolate though.  That’s  a must for me.  I was in the supermarket looking in the nuts aisle when I came across  Sahale Snacks.  I saw that they had many different flavor combinations.  When I saw the Tangerine Vanilla Cashew-Macadamia Glazed Mix, I knew it would be perfect for my blondie. It had both Cashews and macadamia nuts, which was a bonus.

I made my usual blondie batter with butter, brown sugar, vanilla, an egg and the dry ingredients.  But this time I added the bag of Sahale Snacks.  Wow!  This snack mix made these blondies absolutely delicious!

There’s no need to chop the nuts and dried fruit.  I added them in whole. I also added about 1/2 a cup of chopped white chocolate.  You can add more depending on how much white chocolate you like.

As these blondies baked, the whole house smelled like vanilla and caramel.  I couldn’t wait to try one.  After they cooled, I finally did.  I have to say that these are the best blondies I’ve ever made!  I can’t wait to try some of the other snack mix varieties.  I’m definitely making these again soon!
