Spread the love

Inspired by Murial Postres‘s Twixies S’mores, these are Chocolate Caramel Marshmallow Blondies. It’s layer upon layer of yummy goodness.

It’s a Blondie with a layer or rich salted caramel on top. Then a layer of fluffy marshmallow on top of the caramel, with a layer of rich chocolate ganache for a final part!

Can you say gluttony??? Haha! But everyone deserves a little gluttony sometimes. Why not?

• 1 1/2 cup chopped chocolate

Blondies:

Melt butter in a small pot or in a microwave safe bowl. Add brown sugar and mix until incorporated.

Add egg and mix again.

Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Mix. Pour into parchment or release foil lined 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

Caramel:

In a saucepan, place the sugar over medium heat. Let the sugar melt completely. Stir slowly as it melts and turns Amber. When all of the sugar is dissolved, add the heavy cream. Stir. Then add the butter and salt. When the butter is melted, turn off the heat and let it cool. Pour on top of brownies. Cool completely and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare marshmallow. Pour on top of the caramel and refrigerate overnight.

The next day, melt chocolate and cream in a microwave safe bowl for about 50 seconds in the microwave. Add in the corn syrup and stir.

Pour on top of the marshmallow and refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until set.

Cut Blondies into squares and serve.
