Mini Cheeseburger Sliders on Brioche Buns

Spread the love

Are You Ready For Some Football?!!!

Ok, maybe not me. I only like Super Bowl Sunday for the food, not the actual game.

Lol

I have to admit, I love appetizers. I could order a bunch appetizers at a restaurant instead of one meal. I just really love a variety of foods.

So, Super Bowl Sunday is one occasion that’s made up of appetizers and a bunch a finger foods….. heaven on earth!

And there’s nothing like a juicy burger. So these Mini Cheeseburger Sliders on Brioche Buns are perfect to add to your menu!

Start with making the tiny broche Buns. Slice them in half and add a mini burger patty and all the toppings. I used cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. You can really use any toppings you would like. Bacon, onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, anything you would add to a regular size burger.

They’re so good and I love that they are bite size. You won’t be able to stop eating them!

Brioche Buns:

2 cups flour

1 package yeast

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 milk

1 egg

4 tbsp butter (softened)

1 egg + 1 tsp water for wash

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Meat:

1 pound ground beef

Salt

Pepper

Garlic powder

Toppings:

American or cheddar cheese

Lettuce

Plum tomatoes

Buns:

In a standing mixer, place flour, yeast, sugar, salt. Heat milk until warm but not hot in the microwave. Pour over the flour mixture. Turn on the mixer on a low-medium speed. Add the egg and keep mixing. Add butter 1 tablespoon at a time. When the dough forms into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise overnight in the refrigerator.

The next day, punch down the dough and take about 1 tablespoon of dough and form into a little ball. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. Mix egg with water for the egg wash. Brush it on the dough balls. Sprinkle with both sesame seeds. Let rise in a warm place for about 2 hours. Bake in a 350 degree oven until browned for about 20-25 minutes. Cool.

Burgers:

Shape meat into about 2 inch patties. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place meat in a frying pan and cook on both sides.

Assembly:

Slice each bun in half. Place one patty, a piece of cheese cut in 1 1/2 inch slices, pieces of lettuce and a slice of a plum tomato. Use a toothpick to secure.

    1. Thanks Julian! Glad you did!
