Oreo Cheesecake Doughnuts

Spread the love

Oreo cookies are the best! These cookies are such a classic. I mean, who doesn’t like Oreos???

These Oreo Cheesecake Doughnuts satisfy my Oreo craving any day! Soft brioche doughnuts with an Oreo filling in the middle, Topping with a vanilla glaze and crushed Oreos….. delicious!

I used a brioche dough because it’s so soft and pillowy. Perfect for doughnuts.

You can use as many Oreos in this recipe as you want to. For the filling, I used 4. If you don’t want as many, use one or two.

After the doughnuts are filled, dip them in a vanilla glaze and top with more crushed Oreos. Just like the filling, use as much as you like.

These are the perfect sweet treat!

Doughnuts:

1 package yeast

1 cup milk

2 egg yolks

1 egg

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

3 cups flour

10 tbsp softened butter

Oil for frying

Filling:

8oz cream cheese softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

3 tbsp heavy cream

4 Oreos, finely crushed (with the cream filling removed)

Glaze & Topping:

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2-3 tbsp milk

Crushed Oreo cookies

Doughnuts:

Warm milk in the microwave until slightly warm but not hot. Pour in a standing mixer bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Add sugar, salt, vanilla, and eggs. Attach dough hook and turn on the machine. Add the flour a cup at a time. After the flour is in, add the softened butter a tbsp at a time. Let the dough kneed for a few minutes. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1-2 hours. Punch dough so it deflates. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, remove bowl from the refrigerator. Divide the dough into about 10 equal pieces, depending on the size you want the doughnuts.  Roll each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet.  Cover with plastic wrap to rise.
When the doughnuts have risen, heat vegetable oil in a pot and fry them on both sides until browned

In a bowl, place all ingredients for filling. Mix with a spoon. Pour filling into a piping bag with a wide round tip attached. Use a knife or wooden spoon handle to make a hole in the side of each doughnut. Pipe filling in each doughnut until filled.

Mix powdered sugar, vanilla and milk in a bowl. Add milk 1 tbsp at a time until the glaze is at a consistency you like.

Dip the tops of each doughnut in the glaze. Immediately sprinkle with crushed Oreos.

  1. These look delicious and inspire me to try to make doughnuts!!! 🍩
