Here’s the perfect margarita to make on a hot Summer’s day!
can’t go to a Mexican restaurant without ordering a margarita. I mean, tacos and margaritas go hand in hand! Am I right?
So, with our Cinco De Mayo dinner this year, I had to make a great margarita! And pineapples are a great addition! So, a Pineapple Margarita it is!
What is a Margarita?
A Margarita is a cocktail made with tequila and citrus fruit juice. It can be served on the rocks (in a glass with ice) or frozen. Both are delicious.
How did I make this easy pineapple margarita recipe?
I made a pineapple simple syrup for this cocktail. Cut a fresh pineapple into slices. Put one in the simple syrup as it cooks and save the others, which you can cut into wedges for a garnish for the cocktails.
To make it more festive, you can rub a wedge of lime around the tops of each glass and dip into sugar or course salt.
This easy margarita cocktail is delicious and definitely gets you in the mood for Summer!
