Who doesn’t love lemonade in the Summer?
Well, these are definitely not for the kiddies.
Vodka Strawberry Lemonade Spritzers with Thyme. So good, so refreshing, so perfect for the Summer heat and so simple to make!
Muddle strawberries, sugar and thyme in a tall glass. Add lemonade and vodka. Then top with a little sparkling water. Bam!
Simple and good!
Recipe:
4 servings
8 strawberries cut up
6 large lemons
1 1/2 cups sugar
2-3 cups water
Sparkling water
Fresh thyme
4 jiggers of vodka
Strawberries for garnish
Lemon slices for garnish
Divide the cut up strawberries into 4 glasses. Add a sprig of thyme and teaspoon of sugar. Muddle until strawberries are mashed. Add one jigger of vodka to each and ice cubes.
In a pitcher squeeze lemons into it. Add remaining sugar and 2 cups of water and stir. Add more water if needed.
Divide between the 4 glasses. Top with sparkling water. Add strawberries and lemon slices to garnish.
